Gaming Journalism

I run a small YouTube channel in my spare time where I produce all sorts of videos, including game reviews. I like to produce the videos with some light-hearted humor, including the occasional current (or not current) memes. I give games one of three or so different ratings: Saying the game is good [Name-Brand], saying the game is okay [Off-Brand], and saying a game is bad [Generic]. With some minor variations in between. I don’t want to go by a number system, because opinions about games heavily rely on the experience of the reviewer if only one is involved. So usually I’ll explain why I enjoy a game, and the type of gamer that I think would enjoy the game. You can find my myriad of scripts and their respective videos here on Notion, an online Website based note taking site that I recommend very much.

Satisfactory Update 4 Overview

While I have a lot of game reviews under my belt, I am also capable of writing news based pieces surrounding specific games. This is a short, 500+ word piece on everything coming with an update to a game that I enjoy heavily. The sources to everything stated is within the hyperlinks.

Nazi-Zombies Guide to High Waves

In addition to my other works, I can also write guide pieces to help players reach specific goals, or help them to achieve greater heights with a little bit of guidance. This very short piece was written to help players reach higher zombie wave counts in Call of Duty: Black Ops.

As an alternative sample to my script work, here’s what an entire piece would look if I were to go text only, with supplemental images. The game in question was one a Linkedin connection wanted me to do for them.
