I’ve created quite a few videos, using quite a few different video editors, mainly Premiere Pro. I’ve compiled some of my best work, as shown below. Closed Captioning Assistance

For ENGL 5410, I was tasked with helping USU caption some of its teaching materials using Amara, a free site with robust captioning tools. The captions don’t automatically sync to YouTube (in this particular case), but you can view them alongside the video here.

Captioning in Gaming Video Essay

For ENGL 5410, I created this video on the state of captioning in video games, and talk about how captions could change to benefit gamers and users, and the challenges associated with it. The video was created using Camtasia and was captioned in Camtasia as well.

Technological Embodiment Video Essay

I created this video forĀ ENGL 5410, which talks about Technological Embodiment and a few other themes of transhumanism as expressed by the game “Deus Ex: Human Revolution”. The video is fully captioned on YouTube and was done so by using Amara. It was compiled through Camtasia.

This video was also created forĀ ENGL 5410, where I discuss the current state of accessibility in video games. The video is fully captioned, and was also accomplished using Amara, and compiled through Camtasia.
